Inva did not want much, so we kept it simple.

She was near the very end of her pregnancy and I was visiting my mom in Germany. She was in the last few weeks that are just super uncomfortable. This is why most photographers recommend that you take maternity photos between 32 and 35 weeks pregnant. That helps to ensure the most comfortable and enjoyable experience for mama. So to keep it simple for Ivna, we just headed to a park just a few minutes away from her house. I shipped a dress from Hawaii for her to wear and it worked perfect for the location!

Onto Newborn...

So since I was in Germany, I most obviously did not have my studio equipment with me. I shipped some of the basics I needed for newborn photos but sadly couldn't ship my thousand dollar light. (For obvious reasons ..) Luckily for me, Ivna's bedroom had a HUGE window that let in so much natural light. We took much more life-style-esc photos but I was still able to give a studio vibe to a lot of the photos. I wanted to really focus on getting good shots of her family because they traveled all the way there from Albania to be with her.
